Then this behaviour change with the new GTK+ & Co in new Linux distros 
versions like Ubuntu 12.04, as i didn't get such a "minimized" version 
on startup before.

That's also not working, i get a small window on each startup with no 
opened files. There's also this repeating warning on terminal startup:

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "pixmap",
