KEEP option in SAVE command

Sorry I have another question on pspp:
I can't use keep option when I save a file. When I do
SAVE OUTFILE='myfile.sav' /KEEP=VAR1 VAR2 VAR3 .

I got the following answer:
error: SAVE: Syntax error expecting end of command at `KEEP'.
warning: This command not executed.
warning: The rest of this command has been discarded.

But I cannot understand what is wrong in my syntax
