Hmmm. While I have discovered that the version of libgsl is adequate, I
haven't made much progress.

/usr/local/pspp-0.6.0> yum install libgsl0.i586
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit

Package libgsl0-1.6-3mdk.i586 installed and not available
Nothing to do
/usr/local/pspp-0.6.0> yum install libgsl0-dev.i586

No package libgsl0-dev.i586 available.
Nothing to do

I do appreciate your assistance, but at this point I'm going to have to
give up and install the binary, as this has chewed up a bit too much
time... Thanks again.
