hi,

i think it did not work earlier because in the datasheet, there was no variable.if possible, please  enter few variables and check whether that makes data entering possible or not?

Here is system information:

 

Here is screen shot – Here I’m trying only to type in some numbers – such as 1, 2 and 3 in the first column.  But nothing happens; and I’m unable to move among cells of the spread sheet.

 

 

Here I’m opening a student’s data file – seems to look normal;

 

 

Here is the student’s data after I’ve opened her file:

 

Next, I try to get frequencies for ROWNO.   Popup for the frequencies procedure looks OK. 

 

Here is what happens when I click on OK:  Weird – now it seems to be working!  What the heck??????  Tried repeatedly over weekend at home – same laptop – nothing was produced.

Can you tell us which version of PSPP you are using, and under which operating

system?   Also, how exactly are you trying to do the analyis, and what happens

when you do it?
