Hi

All PSPP versions you mention include Brazilian and Spanish translations of the program. The manual is not translated. And the Brazilian translations looks a bit outdated.

Indeed have a look on a how-to to select the language on your MSWindows version. However a lot of users seem not be able to finish this correctly on MSWindows. PSPP has no setting for this.

As you get the english language you computer must be set to English or a not supported language. I guess English.

A very quick and very dirty method to get PSPP in Spanish:

- go to <your program directory>\PSPP\share\locale

- rename the directory es to en

- maybe you have also to rename en_GB to xen_GB or something

This shoud do the trick. After reinstalling of uppgrading PSPP you have to do it again.

Ps: I recommend downloading the latest version from http://pspp.awardspace.com  The links on pspp.awardspace.com point to http://sourceforge.net/projects/pspp4windows  (On average this version is downloaded over 500 times a day and I consider it reasanable stable.)
On sourceforge there are more and newer versions available. If you want to help PSPP with testing and reporting problems, use the latest or even the releasecandidates on http://sourceforge.net/projects/pspp4windows/

Version 8.5 is stable. If you submit a problem, you can review the list of fixed issues and install a development version.

PSPP respeta la configuración regional del entorno (Sistema Operativo). Entonces si, por ejemplo el sistema operativo (o el usuario que ha iniciado sesión) se establece en portugués, entonces en ese idioma se mostrará PSPP.
Cómo cambiar el idioma del entorno depende del sistema operativo. Por ejemplo en GNU o GNU/Linux puedes usar el comando de exportación LANG=pt_PT (Portugués hablado en Portugal) o LANG=pt_BR para Portugués hablado en Brasil. Esto debería funcionar para todos los sistemas operativos basados en POSIX. Para otros tendrá que consultar la documentación del sistema operativo.

You might ask a Windows user how to perform this task. My advice is to have a user in Windows in Spanish language.
