...but it fails compilation on a bunch of platforms when built
with optimization:
/home/petmay01/qemu/hw/misc/zynq-xadc.c:183:5: error: 'rv' may be used
uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized]
so I've dropped it again.
