Looks good, but will need a rebase on my preallocated truncation series.
 (Should be rather simple, however; just adjusting an enum value in
patch 1, some contextual changes, and adding a condition in patch 3 to
return an error if you try to shrink a qcow2 image with a prealloc value
other than PREALLOC_MODE_OFF.)
