Saswata Dutta brings with him more than 17 years of experience in the Software Industry, in which he has served more than 10 years as a Software Process Improvement Consultant. Saswata has over 7 years of experience in Development of Software Systems (involving different life-cycle and development methodologies), and 8 years in Project Management.

Saswatas prolific process consulting experience includes facilitating the CMMI and Software CMM Framework for clients such as Accenture, China; Singapore Technologies, Singapore; Robert Bosch, Malaysia; Canon India, India; Great Eastern Life, Singapore; Custommedia, Malaysia; FSLL, Hong Kong; TSMC, Taiwan; Datamatics Technologies Limited, India etc.

He also teaches courses on CMMI; Software Quality Management, Peer Reviews, Software Project Management, Software Estimation etc for many clients.

Saswata was formerly working with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Defence Research and Development Organization and QAI India Ltd.

Other than the SEI authorized certifications, he is also a member of IEEE for last 16 years, a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:1994 and 2000, as well as an Internal Assessor for Tata Business Excellence Model (in line with MBNQA).

This two-day course is essential for those who want to acquaint themselves with Microsoft Project 2007 (MSP) and to use the tool to effectively plan and schedule their project. The course commences with a discussion on the principles of project management in line with those suggested by the PMI®.

The course covers all aspects of Project scheduling, monitoring and tracking, together with how these techniques can be applied in a given project context using Microsoft Project 2007. There are no pre-requisites and individuals from any domain or industry can attend this 2-day course.

The theory presented during the course is supported by a number of practical exercises and case study that demonstrate the effective use of Microsoft Project 2007.
