You could peek at my target-rl78 that I've started redoing in a QOM way
and with CONFIG_TCG_PASS_AREG0:

The original target-78k0 is on rl78.preqom branch for comparison.
Other than that we have no "model" target, since all in-tree targets
carry baggage from pre-QOM times.
