  CC x86_64-softmmu/target-i386/translate.o

cc1: out of memory allocating 16144128 bytes after a total of 0 bytes

Commit cbdd1999daf2341b33d3ba8036fd84898e1e7c31
(build: compile translate.o with -fno-gcse option on GCC 4.6.x and 4.7)
tried to fix this kind of problem, but was not successful here.

Which compiler was used (gcc or clang, version)?

Stefan
