Yes, I think we need to merge the io_flush and AioTimers patch series
when the QEMU 1.7 window opens so that development can progress without
building up too many out-of-tree dependencies.

QEMU 1.6 should be released tomorrow or soon after.  So I'll revisit
these series so we can bring them into the block-next branch.
