A reference point between 2.1 and the not yet released version 2.3 version would be fine. The repos don't really work like that. If I build 2.2.1, then soon after build 2.3-rc0, the 2.2.1 packages will disappear from the repos. In the case of rawhide you could still grab it from koji, but for virt-preview the 2.2.1 package would be gone. So I don't see the usefulness in putting in effort to package 2.2.1 when it will only be available for a very brief window of time.
Yes, but shouldn't be there a difference between rawhide (e.g. 2.3-rc0) and fedora virt preview library (e.g. currently 2.2.1)? Or is rawhide everything and fedora-virt-preview.repo only the virt part of rawhide?
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Virtualization_Preview_Repository http://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virt-preview/fedora-virt-preview.repoNevertheless I don't see any advantages releasing RC production quality to the rawhide repository as we expect the release soon.
As my question regarding "support" for virt preview was not answered when I had problems and tried it I think I'll switch back to Fedora supported repos.
Thank you anyway. Ciao, Gerhard
