Oh I'd be interested to know if the unit tests pass for you - can you
run this

  make ./tests/test-crypto-tlssession ./tests/test-crypto-tlscredsx509
  ./tests/test-crypto-tlscredsx509
  ./tests/test-crypto-tlssession
