Hi

I have scientific Linux 6.x running with libvirt and KVM / QEMU. Basically my windows VM servers are connected at 100MB instead of 1000MB. As they all have pretty high network traffic, is there a way to resolve this? Is this a common issue?

We have some IBM 3750 servers with two network adapters so pretty high end.

Which virtual network adapter are you presenting to Windows inside the VM (e.g. E1000, virtio, ...)

Which method of connecting the virtual network to the real network have you specified to qemu (e.g. linux kernel bridging, VDE daemon based bridging, ...)

Which additional options have you specified to qemu regarding this virtual network connection?

Enjoy
