A beta release of Qexo/Kawa 1.9 is now available:

This web-site documents version 1.8.1alpha, updated 6 June 2006.
See the summary of recent changes (not fully updated for 1.8.91 yet).

I don't expect major changes before 1.9 is released, but if someone
has a request for something relatively easy I'll consider it.
Do let me know of any problems.

The main XQuery-related tasks at this point are:
* Updating the documentation, including the web site.
* Possibly fixing a few more XQTS failures.
* Possibly a little more performance-tuning.
