please set the Acct-Interim-Interval radius attribute

in entry for a user in the freeradius configuration file be similiar to:

user1  Cleartext-Password := "testing"
       Service-Type = Framed-User,
       Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.0,
       Framed-IP-Address = 10.8.0.33,
       Framed-Route += "192.168.101.0/26 10.8.0.1/32 1",
       Framed-Route += "192.168.111.0/24 10.8.0.1/32 1",
       Framed-Route += "192.168.112.0/24 10.8.0.1/32 1",
       Acct-Interim-Interval=5,
       Framed-Protocol = PPP
