On the debian side, best path (from my perspective :-) is for you to
file a debian bug report (if you can include how to reproduce the bug,
in particular, not just the patch - and please include the patch not
just the url, though the steps-to-reproduce is the most important so I
know what you're actually complaining about) I'll get to it after I
get back from vacation.

(I use ratpoison, and use ratmenu heavily, but I'm American and thus
default to the "you know, teaching them all english would be cheaper"
camp when it comes to i18n... so do try to be specific about what's
actually wrong :-)
