Follow-up Comment #1, bug #56250 (project reproduce):
Yes, this is an inconvenience! I also came up with this annoying situation a
few times.
To fix this problem, and also address others, I am thinking of changing
`--host-cc' (to use host C compiler) to `--build-gcc' (so GCC is only built
when explicitly requested).
Please share your thoughts ;-).
