are disappearing from the contact tab on the main view in Ring on restart?

No, If I have a Contact in The Chat View and Rght Click, Add to Contacts, The Contact will not show up in the Conracts list.
Only if I completely close Ring and Restart the Application the Contact appears in the List.

There is no contact sync for the moment, but again the roadmap will be fixed next week.
