-There is some work on the mail infrastructure to provide a finer-grained
control over the mail and better fight spam. But this is not yet done (it is
being implemented by the FSF sysadmins).

The FSF mail servers do some filtering. Savannah hackers can access the spam
queues in /spam on lists.gnu.org.
Much more filtering is done for most lists by the listhelper setup; this is
enabled by default for all lists created through savannah. See
ListHelperAntiSpam.
