Likewise, we shouldn't ignore than the underlying network of irc.gnu.org
is Freenode.

"changing networks every week" is misleading.  Neither desicion to this
issue would imply we will change the networks every week or nearly.
Furthermore, #savannah is currently on OFTC.  To have #savannah
officially on Freenode we would have to change again, to keep it on OFTC
no change is need.  If there is a problem moving channels let's bear in
mind an aditional change don't negates the effects of the first change
on itself.  #savannah could be back where it was but moving back still
would be an additional change, with its hindrance, if there is any.

Bear in mind there was a reason to move from Freenode and it still
applies at the best of my knowledge.  The problem has been just
explained by Ted Smith [1] and the thread has been archived in [2].  I
think Sylvain contacted address@hidden personally; there is
further information about the issue with Freenode in [3].
