I was very sad when It's All Text stopped working with the changed API
in the web browsers. Because it was really a useful plugin.

Since then I have discovered a new plugin that works very well for
me. I have been using the "Edit With Emacs" plugin. It's inspired by
the previous It's All Text plugin. Of course I am using it with Emacs
but it just spawns $EDITOR and can be used with any editor.

It's not completely trivial to use however. One needs to use a
separate script server to listen for requests from the browser and
react to them. However I am using it every day now and would hate to
be with it as much as I hated to be without the previous. But I know
it is only a matter of time before the browser API changes again and
once again breaks all plugins.
