Hi there!!
I'm from Paris, France.
I'm a newbie at coding, but I'm willing to learn and
to share experience with others ...
I guess you won't wonder if I tell you that it took me
some time to understand the differences lying behind
the use of words such as "free software" and "open
source".
Even now, I'm a bit confused. Too much information ;)
Anyway, I'm planning to work on a game+game engine (it
will be an original artificial society + strategy
game). And I'm wondering wether I should host this
projets on SourceForge or Savannah ...
I get the point beteween FSF and OSmovement. I'm
closer to the FSF point of view (ethics seems
important to me). But I also realized that Savannah
currently hosts much fewer projects ... How comes? And
what shall I do for my project hosting ... where shall
I go ?
Thanx in advance for answers/commentaries/details ...
