A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
John B Everitt <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License: I expect to use GNU Free documentation license too in the
documentation [sic]. Although this one size fits all sucks, because where does
XML fit in, DTDs, XLST\'s etc, documentation or code?
Package: Coup de foudre
System name: cdf
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
In a nutshell it is a plan for a universal dictionary/thesaurus covering
multiple idioms (ideas) that are ordered by level of abstraction. The idea is
that one can read in any electronic written medium and be able to retrieve the
word definition[s] from multiple dictionaries, retrieve related ideas and
related non-English words. It is a 21st century hyperlinked dictionary.
This is a drastic simplification. The idea is a free dictionary for all
nations, all people and the underlying ethic is to allow us all to understand
the underlying meaning of any website regardless of where it was written.
Giving people the underlying tools to understand eachother.
It does not exist yet other than the initial paper. The initial paper is
licensed using the GNU documentation license. For all those non-believers I
have uploaded it to one of my websites: http://www.firetrench.com/coup.pdf
