A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Michael Kleinhenz <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: JERPA
System name: jerpa
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
JERPA stands for \"Java Enterprise Resource Planning
Architecture\". It is a project aimed to create an advanced
basis for ERP software. It is based on a component model
that supports component pooling and remote components via
XML-RPC and RMI. JERPA is more of a library used to build
different enterprise applications, althought the default
JERPA SDK will include some basic components for
groupware use. Written in pure Java, it supports GNU/Linux
and other Java platforms.
This project was started to provide the LinuxTag, a large
community-driven GNU/Linux and Free Software conference in
Germany, with a simple to use and powerful organizational
backend software. It\'s concept however has grown into a
full-scale ERP software model.
It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
