A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Alain Roy <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: FormuleWeb
System name: formuleweb
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
My project FormuleWeb is a web site about Formula One in the world. It show
courses results of each championship into the world, it hosts a lot of pilots,
cars, informations, etc. In fact it is already popular and appreciated by a lot
of people on the internet. But the existing version is only static and gives me
a lot of work each time I must make a modification. To avoid this problem and
to offer some improvements (suchs as sorts, requests, etc.), a friend convinced
me to use PHP and Mysql to make a new dynamic version of my web site. Of course
I don\'t want savannah to host the web site itself, but only the project\'s
sources (ie. the PHP pages). A lot of work was already done for the new dynamic
version, and a lot of PHP pages and the mysql database already exists. But I
would like to work on it with some friends and with people suggestions. So it
could be very usefull for me if I could benefit of savannah services (mailing
list and CVS repository at least).
So, I will import my project source as soon as it will be accepted by you.
Thank you very much.
