This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

C. Conrad Cady <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: The Dumas Framework
System name: dumas
Type: 2

Description:
The Dumas PHP/MySQL/XML Framework is a set of PHP code which allows rapid
development of data-based web sites using PHP, MySQL, and XML. An alpha
version is currently available.

The developer who uses the framework defines the searches and result pages as
XML which relates back to the underlying database. The graphic designer can
take the XML produced and apply XSLT to render pages as s/he\'d like. Most of
the details of user interaction, paging, sorting results, and SQL access are
taken care of.

A temporary version is available at http://ccady.com/dumas.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
The Dumas framework requires PHP and MySQL.

Other Comments:
The name Dumas comes from the fact that I am using this framework as the basis
for my own web site at http://www.cadytech.com/dumas/ about Alexandre Dumas
père.
