A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Reto Stamm <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Hopify
System name: hopify
Type: 1
Description:
Hopify is an application that creates Texts to practice speed reading. The
basic Idea is that in School, you learn until you can read words, then you
\"can read\". With Hopify, you learn to read multiple words on one line, then
to read \"squares\" of words.Hopify is currently a Web Page
http://www.retostamm.com/cgi/hopify.cgi and I also have a commandline script
that converts Project Gutenberg books into Hopified latex files.
Hopefully one day there will be a free hopified Book created from this data,
together with a (to be written) introduction to the concept.
Also, I am planning on an Interactive GTK frontend that allows practicing, and
online .ps creation.
There is a Tarbal at http://lingoteach.org/hopify-0.1.tar.gz . That Tarbal
should be consistent with Gnu Legal standards at this point. (Coding standards
probably not yet.)
Other Software Required:
latex, gs, perl, gmake, project Gutenberg
