It depends of the choice of the project admin. The standard
behaviour on savannah is to type enter directly as anoncvs
password.

But an admin can change this. See CVS documentation.

Hey there.

Last I checked, you should use anoncvs for the user and the
password. As in, don't just hit Enter.
