Description:
Our project is a mapping software for caves. The input of therion are text
files, describing the survey data. Outputs are (or will be) in many formats.
Currently supported are PDF maps and 3D models.
It already exists and you can download the latest distribution at
http://www.therion.sk/downloads/therion.tar.gz. On http://www.therion.sk page,
you can see all the details.
Other Software Required:
It requires survex (www.survex.com), a free cave mapping software, metapost and
pdftex for maps generation. An interactive user interface is written in Tcl/Tk
(using BWidgets), one preprocessing program is written in Perl.
