Description:
Emaxml is a major mode for editing XML as a tree. It is based on a
controlled buffer which displays the XML document as a colored
tree, and allows to manipulate its branches.

Emaxml stores the tree internally as an object of the XD Data
Model, which is also part of Emaxml but could be used
independently, and provides an XML parser, a writer, a hierarchy
of types and functions to manipulate it.

This project has been my degree dissertation and, although it works,
it still needs a good bunch of improvements and new functionalities to
become a serious and complete tool for XML development. It has also
some bugs to be fixed.

Other Software Required:
Emaxml runs as a major mode for GNU Emacs >=21.
