Hi,
I see that you have some good ideas. But we can only offer
you a way to help develop your software.
You only have to make sure your software follows these
guidelines on https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php
I am sure you can play a rol in the further development of
your software if you put it on savannah and release it under
the GPL.

I am a newcommer in this Site and I am happy to see,
that there are attemts to build a new GNU-software for
Medicine.
I am a GP in Austria and have been programming my own
software under INFORMIX, which run under XENIX. These
days I could manage to move my datas and programms to
LINUX and I am happy that this works. Since 10 years I
am programming using the 4gl-Language under INFORMIX.
As I have got further ideas to develop my program I am
glad to find a posibility here on this site. I am a
GP, not Software-specialist! So I am going to ask, if
I can play a rol in this process. May be I am not
enough specialist for that task.
As far my work was to organize the daily work on the
computer including scientific statistic of
the "Beratungsergebnis" (= The disease I suppose the
patient has got, which might be far away from
Diagnosis)
My further plan (or desire) is a projekt to program
guidlines for general medicine.
It is very simple to open a screen with fields, where
the doctor can write all patient answers and findings.
This I have got already. But I am not satisfied in it.
I am looking for a way of working with my patient and
the computerscreen face to face so that the computer
can acompain this procedure (Documentation of the
proces between doctor and patient) on the one hand and
the computer can lead this process on the other hand
(guid through the diagnostic procedure. The computer
should not disturbe the process very much between
patient and doctor. In fact this will álways be a
problem, but we shuld try to minimize it.
Since 10 years my thougts while diagnostic are
employed with this subject.
The problem is the following:
the diagnostic and therapeutic process between doctor
and patient is a chaotic process which needs in some
certain points be led by a well structured way of
thinking. The questions which we ask depend on the
answers of the patient and vice versa.
Guidlines have to be chek-lists - not to forget
someimportant question.
>From this point of view it is difficult to prescribe a
list of questions in a guidline. I would rather think
about a check-list which is interactive, depending on
the patient´s answers and on the prefixed demands
(superficial questions (minutes) or deep going query
(long time query)).
This is a short survay over my desires. I do not know,
if I can find understanding on this site.
greetings
Philipp walderdorff
