Hi, I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. address@hidden wrote:
A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden Jason Cater <address@hidden> described the package as follows: License: gplOther License: Package: RentFreeSystem name: rentfree Type: GNU Description:This is a rental management application written using the GNUe tools. It can be used to manage rental houses and apartment communities. For accounting needs, RentFree can interface with an installed GNU Enterprise accounting setup. At the current time, no releases have been made. All code is in CVS.Other Software Required: GNU Enteprise Tools (Forms, Reports, Common) (http://www.gnue.org)
Could you create a tarball with the code as it now exists and make it available to a temporary URL (and add this url to your description while submitting the project)? We will help you fix potential legal issues. For example, in order to release your project under the GPL you should write copyright notices and copying permission statements at the beginning of every source code file, following the advice of http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html Could you resubmit your project once it's done? You can resubmit your project with ease by copying the big re-registration URL provided in the mail you received at submissionAlso you stated that you are part of the GNU project. Can you give me any pointers as were I can find that you are actually part of the GNU project already.
Regards, Rudy
