Chris Hagner <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: MontyPy
System name: montypy
Type: GNU

Description:
This project is a web development framework using Python, Apache (1.3 or 2),
and mod_python. It\'s goal is to provide a highly configurable platform for
rapid web development and efficient application maintenance. The
configurability comes from pluggable \'services\' that provide the features
found in almost all web platforms (db connections, user authentication,
logging, locales, etc.). With this \'pluggability,\' developers can
replace/implement framework components that they prefer, not what the framework
designer restricts them to.

The software was originally developed by software engineers at The Motley Fool
(fool.com) for the purpose of replacing the current Redmond-originating web
platform. While the software was not put into production, it did reach a
highly usable state. The Fool decided to open source the software in the hopes
of others benefiting from it and improving it.

You can download the latest distribution at
http://www.nonstoptech.com/foolware/download/.

Other Software Required:
Python 2.x.
