nightolo <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: gnosi (Gnome Software Installer)
System name: gnosi
Type: non-GNU

Description:
\"Gnosi\" is an acronym for Gnome Software Installer. It will be a software
which permits to download and install gnome package from source (downloaded
from a gnome mirror).
With gnosi you also check what and what version of GNOME package you have got.
Gnosi is intended for developer of gnome (they will be able to download and
install their preferred package with gnosi) and for simple end user (who could
install latest stable/unstable version of gnome without any prompting).

I\'ll write gnosi in C with a lightweight (I hope) gtk+ GUI. I\'ll do some
transalations for i18n.

I\'ll release Gnosi with GNU/GPL License, it does not exist yet but I\'m
working on it.

I write this software because I need it :) vicious-build-script or GarGNOME
which install latest version of gnome are too poor for me then I decide to
write a simple software for the simple user.
In future I\'ll add atk support that implement accessibility on this software.

I think that simple user could switch between libcurl and gnome-vfs to get
files (but gnosi is an installer and probably it will have to install also
gnome-vfs)

Other Software Required:
*) gtk+ (dependencies: glib, pango, atk) license: GNU/GPL http://www.gtk.org

*) libcurl (optional) license MIT/X
http://curl.haxx.se

*) gnome-vfs (optional) license: GNU/GPL
http://www.gnome.org

I should use gnome-vfs or libcurl, it depends on system configuration
