A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Moritz Schulte <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Srpc
System name: srpc
Type: non-GNU
Description:
Description of `Srpc\':
`Srpc\' is an acronym for `Simple [or: small] RPC\'. It is a quite simple
RPC system for POSIX systems. It consists of a stub generator (srpc-sg), which
parses interface definitions and generates server/client stubs for different
programing languages. At the moment server stubs for C and client stubs for C
and Guile are supported (there are guile stubs that are entirely written in
Guile and Guile stubs, which use guile extensions to embed C code, which is
much better (faster)).
Srpc works already quite well, I think.
It is not released yet; I uploaded an official snapshot to:
http://duesseldorf.ccc.de/~moritz/srpc.tar.gz.
Other Software Required:
To be able to generate/use guile stubs, it needs guile, of course.
