Err... To test what, exactly?  Where did you send the email to?

Do you know that the bounced mails are machine generated and sent
automatically to (two) mailing lists upon committing to Emacs' CVS?
I'm not subscribed to these mailing lists so I cannot confirm the
arrival of a test message.  Did you expect me to?

Judging from the error messages of the mail delivery software, my
(totally uninformed and naive) guess would be that it did not trust
either the machine from which is was sent or my identity:
