Zajcev Evgeny <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: XEmacs Window Manager
System name: xwem
Type: non-GNU
Description:
xwem is window manager written entirely in emacs lisp.
as base it uses modified and enhanced version of XlibInterface written by Eric
Ludlam it can be founded at http://cedet.sourceforge.net/.
There is no sources available by now.
xwem behaves much like ion or ratpoison window manager - it enlarges X11
application to width and height of special xwem windows. xwem also support
native emacs keymaps translated to X representation and installed grabs if
needed. xwem is the first window manager i know which support strokes i.e.
executing commands according to mouse movements (see strokes-mode in emacs).
Other Software Required:
Any OS and hardware where XEmacs and X11 server starts.
Other Comments:
I cant manage to run it under GNU Emacs - it always core dumps :(
