[Savannah-hackers] Should we make a GPG key a requirement for new users?

With the recent GNU problems signatures look like being more and more
necessary. Would it be a good idea to require a GPG key for new users?

I suppose the ideal is to require the key for someone who registers a
project.

Any thoughts?
