Hongli Lai <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: GNOME SuperUser Library
System name: libgnomesu
Type: non-GNU

Description:
libgnomesu is a library for providing superuser privileges to GNOME

applications.

The library consists of several backends (currently PAM, su, sudo and
consolehelper are supported). Depending on the situation, the best backend is
used.

Applications call simple, high-level APIs and have no control about password
dialog (for security and portability reasons).

A frontend application (gnomesu) and Nautilus integration support are also
included in this package.
