Hi,

The following project was submitted to Savannah. It needs evaluation to
become a GNU package, can you give it a look, please ?

Submitter: <address@hidden>
Project Full Name: FreeIPMI
Project System Name: freeipmi
License: gpl
Approval URL: https://savannah.gnu.org/admin/groupedit.php?group_id=5304
Description: FreeIPMI is a programmable/extensible system for building
intelligent platform management solution. The system provides readline based

shell interface and scheme based extension language.

FreeIPMI project is split into libfreeipmi C library and

Fish (Free Ipmi SHell). Using libfreeipmi you can develop remote

platform management software for IPMI compatible systems over

a LAN or Serial connection. Capabilities of IPMI are huge,

starting from remote power cycling to raising alarm on chasis

intrusion detection.

You can find the source at

ftp://address@hidden/people/ab/freeipmi

Do not attempt to compile them, they are broken. I have

added some source files just for reference.
