Actually you don't 'delete branches', you just forget them, CVS is as simple as that :).
May you tell me how I could restart from the beginning? I know it's my problem, but I can't find anything about it on the web.
I must confess I don't know how to fix this problem, unless re-importing your code. If this is okay for you, I can clean up your CVS repository and you can reimport a fresh source tree.
