Description:
The Sambalizer project aims to release a log sorting and presentation utility 
allowing administrators to review the usage of their Samba server shares and 
resources.  Sambalizer aims to be similar in scope and concept to the Webalizer 
log parser, but written from scratch and optimized for Samba logfiles *only*.  
Additional focus will be placed on writing self-documenting, clean and secure 
code.



Sambalizer will be released under the GPL and developed using only non-free 
tools (Linux, vim and Perl/CPAN).  I have no code to show at this time, but 
hope to have an initial developer's release (and CVS import) sometime this 
weekend.
