PNG files, each at a size of about 46 KB.

I went ahead and uploaded the files mentioned above. I probably will add some
more JavaScript animations, but I've made some progress toward learning to
make mpeg files, so I'll try not to let it get out of hand.

I had some problems with MNG. `convert' worked for about 10 files, but no
more, whereby I suspect that the reason was the size rather than the number.
However, it is an interesting format and someday I'll try to find out what
went wrong.
