URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106436> Summary: avoid refill of trackers form when mandatory field is missing Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: erk Submitted on: vendredi 11.07.2008 à 08:45 Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: address@hidden Operating System: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Would it be possible to improve the way "mandatory field missing" is signaled to the user. It's not unusual and very anoying to fill-in a bug report or any tracker item then push the submit button and discover that you miss some mandatory field. Savane signaled this with a message and take you back to ** a blank tracker form ** and you lost your 20 lines written explanation alltogether... Would it be possible to find a way to signal the error AND KEEP the ALREADY filled-in fields? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106436> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
