[Savannah-help-public] Getting started with svn: authorization failed

Hi,

I'm pretty new to using subversion, so I don't know why any write operation I try returns "authorization failed", whether I use --user and --password or not.  I created my project, changed it from CVS to SVN, and according to the subversion documentation, 'svn import path URL' should let me create a repository, but as I said, it fails authorization.  New, stuck, help, please, thanks.  :)
