Follow-up Comment #2, task #5707 (project administration):
gtalk has been thinking like a good GUI client dedicated to google-talk-IM
system.
gtalk is using C language under GPL license and GTK for gui graphics library
based. Right now it dont have any idea complete for socket connections,
iksemel under GPL was thought for first option or I will rewrite a new jabber
client system for connections.
The already code is not the end, I mean... I thinking the best way to do the
works yet. It need do stuff like google-talk under Windows client of Google
is doing.
gtalk features for the first release:
* Google talk GUI style
* Google full jabber client supported
* Images accounts display
* Add contacts
* Delete contacts
* Sort contacts
The main requires libraries:
* gtk+-2.0 or best
* glib-2.0 or best
* iksemel (http://iksemel.jabberstudio.org/)
Hmm, iksemel is under LGPL, for this reason my another option is rewrite my
own jabber library or find another GPL library.
