MPlayer Tools is a collection of command line utilities for MPlayer users.
Goals of the project:
1) save the files (and the position in the files) you are watching
2) configure mplayer to suit your need automatically (using rules defined in
the config file) or with minimal typing (using modes defined in the config
file - similar to the mplayer config file profiles but can be a lot more
complex)
3) generate statistics about the movies you watched and the movies you have
4) ease the use of your TV tuner. You can record easily, there also is a
timeshift script. If you have a memory filesystem and lots of memory, you
don't need to stress your HDD while timeshifting
