==== Description: ====
Hashlet is a command line application, written in c, that provides an
interface and driver to the Cryptotronix Hashlet, which is a hardware
authentication device. The software provides a usable mechanism to load keys
into the device, retrieve random data, perform keyed hashes to produce Message
Authentication Codes (MACs), and verify the MACs on the device. Also, an
offline-verify feature is provided which allows a remote system, without the
Hashlet device, to verify the authenticity of the MAC.

This software was designed for the Cryptotronix Hashlet, which is
open-hardware for the BeagleBone Black. However, the software should work on
any GNU/Linux operating system that can communicate over the I2C protocol
(i.e. hash /dev/i2c-1 or similar).
