== Description: ==
ARIF is an input method framework for GNU Readline.
The primary goal of ARIF is to provide a lightweight, portable input method
framework that works on any software that uses GNU Readline as its line
editor.
In the future, other line editors (e.g. tecla) may be supported.
It can be especially useful when GUI is not available (thus we can't use
modern
input method frameworks like IBus or Fcitx), but still wants to use an IME
for
CLI programs.
== Other Software Required: ==
1. GNU Readline
2. (optional) Rime IME core library <https://github.com/rime/librime>,
3-Clause BSD License
== Other Comments: ==
Current status:
- Core features are implemented, but still requires more testing
- The example library that provides Rime IME support is yet to be implemented
- Documentation is incomplete
